Who?

thems. (lower case with a period.) is a queer art collective that collaborates with artists and arts organizations to nurture talent and amplify queer voices in Phoenix, AZ.

Through workshops, community events, and exhibitions, we create a culture of support and safe space for queer expression, connection, and artistic growth.

thems. envisions a future where Phoenix, AZ celebrates and supports our LGBTQIA+ artists. Where artists are supported both socially and financially and fully recognized for their invaluable cultural and creative contributions. We strive for a world where queer artists have equal opportunities to thrive, and where Arizona proudly embraces the richness of its LGBTQIA+ arts community.

We will nurture a collectively-owned organization that empowers curators, organizers and volunteers to gain the autonomy and organizational leadership skills necessary to cultivate an environment where queer art flourishes in Arizona.
