Publication 101: How to Write and Publish Poems with Cierra Crea

Class Description: Are you curious about getting published? Have you been looking for feedback on your work? In this workshop, writers will get an opportunity hear feedback from community members in a safe, non-judegmental environment, and learn all about about publishing your own work. This workshop will be a safe, supportive environment where you will be able to ask questions, get answers, and work on some new poetry. 

BRING A COMPLETED OR IN PROGRESS POEM OR SHORT STORY. (notes app, printed or written, any medium is fine)

This workshop is open to all skill levels. 

What We’ll Do: Publishing 101 Lesson followed by a workshop in groups of 2. We’ll end the evening with a short debrief and Q&A. The learning objective of the class is to provide and receive helpful feedback on a piece of writing in a safe, collaborative environment. 

Location: Afternoons Studio 2811 N 7th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85007

Parking at the back of the building available - do not park on street, if lot is full please park across the street at Duke’s Photography.
